A top tech company is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its Network Investment Team, which oversees backbone network infrastructure across APAC. This role will involve close collaboration with multiple internal teams, such as Infra Finance, Network Engineering Billing, and Accounting, as well as with external suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Network Investment team with Purchase Requests (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and day-to-day operations, coordinating with Billing and Accounting teams.
- Maintain invoice records and status, manage internal approvals, and facilitate the payment process.
- Identify and resolve issues in the invoice and payment process, working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Enter and update financial and contractual data in internal systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Partner with Finance, Billing, Accounting, and other teams to streamline source-to-pay workflows.
- Analyze recurring invoice and payment issues to suggest and implement process improvements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in payment and invoice processing, with knowledge of PR, PO, and commercial contract concepts.
- Preferably experienced in multinational companies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks effectively.
- Analytical skills to understand business trends and project future revenue and expenses.
- Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, financial markets, and financial data reporting.
- Familiarity with financial software and tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Program management experience is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
