As part of the Medical Social Services team, you will be responsible for the counseling of patients on the use of CPF (Central Provident Fund) Medisave accounts, apply governmental financial assistance schemes to assist patients in need, explain chronic care management packages available at our polyclinics, process case documents and write social reports to facilitate the financial applications. You will also conduct peer's audit check on Medicare Assistance, ensure proper documentation, filing and safekeeping of Medisave Authorization Form (MAF) for patients and perform daily reconciliation of MAF (Medisave Application Form) to the Medisave sign-up cases in the clinic system. You will be required to provide assistance and support to the Medical Social Workers in social service case management for patients in need at the polyclinic.
You are also required to perform any other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisors.
Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma / Higher NITEC / A-Level
- At least 1 to 2 years of customer service experience
- Pleasant personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous and have an eye for numbers
- Experience in the social service sector and/or counselling will be an advantage
