Our client is a renowned commodity MNC with an international presence. It is looking to recruit for the following role in the operations department.
Financial Ops- Trade Support Role
- Trade validation
- to ensure that all trades are accurately captured in ETRM
- Trade reporting
- to keep abreast on latest reporting requirements set down by local authorities for OTC derivatives
- to ensure compliant reports are sent to the authorities (eg MAS, ASIC) before the stipulated deadline
- to trouble shoot and liaise with internal/external stakeholders in event of mapping or mismatched issues
- to carry out User Acceptance Testing (UAT), if required
- Review and propose appropriate enhancements to streamline processes
- Any other tasks as directed by your line manager.
Technical qualifications and skills:
- Fresh graduates with some relevant exp in trade support work gained in banking or commodity trading will be considered. Or you are a trade support operations candidate with 1 to 3 years of relevant trade support experience
- Has the relevant experience doing compliance reporting sent to MAS
- Experience in Power & Gas, Env Products and Oil derivatives is advantageous but not necessary
- IT proficiencies on Excel Macro, VBA and any computer language will be an added advantage but this is not a must
- Ok to WFO 100% of the time in office (based in town)
