About the Job

We are looking for a skilled Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support our South Korea operations. In this role, you will provide essential financial insights by analyzing data, forecasting performance, and contributing to business planning specific to the South Korea market. Working closely with local and regional teams, you will develop budgets, track key financial metrics, and drive strategic decision-making. Proficiency in both Korean and English is essential, along with strong analytical skills and experience in financial modeling. This role is based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

Budgeting and Reporting

  • Be responsible for timely financial planning and reporting.
  • Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting and operating plan.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to collate and analyse budget and forecast.
  • Preparation of monthly management presentations as well as monthly, quarterly and annual reports for local and HQ reporting packages.

Financial Planning and Analysis

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to support decision-making that aligns with our business Vision, focusing on areas such as weekly and monthly performance metrics, key performance indicators, product profitability, and insights into market share and the competitive landscape.
  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures.
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.

Key Skills / Core Competencies

  • Possess strong logical and analytical thinking skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Hyperion and BI tools.
  • Experience in SAP would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to communicate and present reports & ideas.
  • Strong team player who thrives on excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced and demanding environment while delivering desired results.
  • High levels of adaptability in working in a start-up environment.
  • Proficiency in both English and Korean at a business negotiation level is essential for effectively supporting our South Korea operations. This position requires strong communication skills in both languages to ensure professional and effective interactions across teams and stakeholders.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience in manufacturing / engineering / technology / start-up is preferred.
