Conducts product development, product improvement, product application and sensory evaluation studies for various products in accordance to requirements and standards
Ensure all new products are in compliance with all legislations and certifications
Recommend suitable packaging materials for new products or existing products
Conduct shelf-life studies for new products
Production process and products trouble-shooting by giving technical supports
Source new quality and cost effective ingredients, machines and equipment
Complete documentation including specifications on new raw materials
Ensure timely documentations of recipes and nutritional information of new products
Prepare SOP and work closely with production team to ensure success of product development
Any ad hoc duties assigned by superior
Requirement:
Diploma in Food Science / Food Technology or related course
Preferably with 1 year relevant working experience in product development
Have good grasp of HACCP, ISO22000 & GMP requirement will be advantage
Good communication skill & demonstrate technical competence
Ability to handle multiple projects & work independently
