Foreign Lawyer

We are Focus Law Asia LLC, a boutique disputes law firm based in Singapore. We are seeking a Foreign Lawyer to join our dynamic team.

The candidate will expected to:

. Collaborate with local lawyers to draft agreements tailored to client needs.

. Conduct research, and collaborate with Singapore-based lawyers.

. Provide translation services between Japanese and English for clients.

. Serve as a primary point of contact for local and Japanese clients, coordinating closely with clients to ensure seamless service.

. Contribute to business development efforts to support firm growth and client acquisition.

Requirements:

• A recognised Law Degree from Japan and/or from common law jurisdiction especially from UK or SG.
• At least 5 years of legal work experience especially in employment law, corporate law and cross-border M&A.
• Well-versed in the law with advanced research skills
• Fluent in both English and Japanese (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication and people skills
• Ability to work well in a team
