Our client is ENGIE Factory, the start-up studio of ENGIE Group, a global leader in low-carbon energy and services.

ENGIE Factory works closely with founders who champion the vision of decarbonising our world. We fund these new start-ups and support founders in scaling their businesses globally through collaboration with ENGIE.

We are searching for a CEO to join a Technical Co-Founder (already in place) to lead a cutting-edge software solution to optimise large battery systems. The product enables businesses to slash their energy bills and carbon emissions.

The venture has successfully raised its pre-seed funding round and is backed by ENGIE Factory and another prominent venture builder investor.

As a Founder, you will receive a Founder's equity stake in the venture plus a monthly stipend of SGD 7,000+ until you have raised your Seed round. You also have the option to use our office space as you grow your team and continue to have access to our team of expert Venture Builders.

We are looking for:

• Experience in a start-up environment, preferably as a Founder or founding team member.
• Experience in related fields or industries such as energy, and preferably more specifically in batteries.
• Entrepreneurial drive and grit to perform under pressure and uncertainty.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to clearly communicate and sell new ideas and strategic insights, using strong narratives to convince senior decision-makers.
• Complex problem-solving skills: we are looking for individuals able to solve problems creatively.
