UWCSEA Dover seeks qualified candidates for the position of freelance Basketball Coach (IEC) with an immediate start date for seasonal work.
The position will be involved with coaching students in our community programme on Saturdays, holiday programmes and mid-week. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable with variable start and end times.
United World College South East Asia, Dover Campus Sports Programme, aims to discover and develop the potential in each and every student commensurate with a ge and ability in a wide range of activities.
Strong ability in delivering Basketball programmes to students across a K-12 programme.
- Provide highest teaching standards teaching methods and material should be up-to-date, a ge group relevant and ability appropriate.
To think creatively to provide innovative lessons/sessions that will be engaging, fun and interesting- To work collaboratively with students, colleagues and other UWCSEA team members.
A good understanding of the health and safety of the court and working with equipment.
Basketball Coaching qualification or an equivalent
- Minimum of 2-5 years coaching experience
Experience in delivering basketball programmes to students in a school or club environment.- Well-organized and able to work with limited supervision
Ability to collaborate with other staff members in the college
- To demonstrate a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of students and members of the UWCSEA community.
