Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver WSQ culinary training programs.
- Conduct hands-on culinary demonstrations and workshops for students, focusing on fundamental cooking techniques, food safety, and menu development.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to culinary students to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge.
- Assess students performance in the kitchen and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Ensure that students are well-versed in food safety and hygiene practices.
- Oversee and enforce kitchen cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure studio organisation and hygiene is always up to company standards.
- Oversee and maintain kitchen equipment quality and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Formal culinary education and certification preferred.
- ACTA or ACLP Certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Patience and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic culinary environment.
