The (Freelance) Producer's responsibilities:
- Write one episode of the Programme as assigned by Mediacorp;
Participate in all Programme script discussions;- Do all necessary research required for writing the Programme, including but not limited to conducting remote pre-interviews with profiles if necessary;
Ensure that the quality of the Scripts and write-ups meet Mediacorps requirements;
- Ensure information in the script is factually correct; and
Ensure the Scripts are completed and delivered in accordance with the timelines specified by Mediacorp.- Produce and direct the episode
Source for profiles
- Manage the post-production of the relevant Programme;
Submit all deliverables needed for the Programme within the given deadlines and,- Ensure the episode is completed and delivered within transmission deadlines
Min. 2 years of writing/producing/directing factual/documentary program- Recognised university graduate
Excellent command in English (written & spoken)
- Resourceful and excellent research skills
Strong leadership capabilities- Strong production/time management
Meticulous and attention to details
- Keen interest in current affairs and factual documentaries
Freelance producer per show - up to $7,500 (10 weeks turnaround)
