They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fuel Oil Operator to join their dynamic team in Singapore as part of their expansion plans.
Responsibilities for the Fuel Oil Operator - Commodities Firm:
Cargo Operations Management:
- Manage and coordinate all phases of fuel oil cargo operations, from initial planning to final delivery.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Oversee and supervise the loading, unloading, and transportation of fuel oil cargoes.
Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination:
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations of fuel oil cargoes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as shipping companies, port authorities, and inspection agencies.
Operational Efficiency:
- Implement and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency and lower costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner to minimize disruptions.
Requirements for the Fuel Oil Operator - Commodities Firm:
- 8+ years of experience within a commodity trading environment is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborative team player with effective leadership skills.
- Experience in Fuel Oil would be required.
