Full Stack Developer (1-year Contract)

CIX is looking for a Full Stack Developer (1-year Contract) in Java and React to work on front and back-end engineering to develop capabilities for Marketplace and Exchange platforms. This person is responsible for building secure & quality code to ensure deliverables meet the requirements and to ensure that applications functional and non-functional meets expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Writing outstanding code that follows best practice and is secure from inception
• Actively participate in the end-to-end life cycle for the entire application stack, from conception to deployment
• Working with the Platform team to drive high quality application development
• Support troubleshooting and implementation of solutions for any issues identified during QA and production use
• Contribute to the continuing maturing of the software development process, driving best practice under the advice of Senior developers.

Requirements

• 2+ years hands on experience as a full stack developer
• Good programming skills in Java and React
• A broad set of technology skills in backend and frontend technologies, micro service design patterns, and open Source libraries and frameworks
• Experience in developing performant and secure back-end Java applications
• Experience in developing rich front-end applications using React or similar technologies
• Able to develop flexible and extensible API layers, including experience in writing code that interacts with external systems via API
• Experience developing in a cloud environment, preferably Azure
• In depth understanding of SDLC and agile methodology, having participated in sprint based work
• Proficient in source code versioning tools such as Bitbucket and CI/CD DevOps process
• Experience in the use of Jira or similar tools for work planning
• Commitment to a one-year contract is required
