Full Stack Developer role with Astek Singapore

As a Full Stack Developer at Astek, you will play a key role in supporting the platform layer that centralizes and abstracts infrastructure challenges, providing developers with powerful tools for building and deploying GenAI applications securely.
You will collaborate with developers and business users to ensure the platform meets the AI needs of the organization and provides a seamless and efficient developer experience (DX).

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, business users, and product teams to ensure the platform meets both functional and performance requirements.
- Contribute to improving the developer experience (DX) for internal teams using the platform.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of applications and platform services.
- Participate in the design, testing, and continuous improvement of platform and application features.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in software development.
- Front-End Development: ReactJS (preferred) or equivalent frameworks.
- Back-End Development: Python (FastAPI preferred) and/or NodeJS (NextJS a plus).
- SDK Development: Python (Poetry).
- Infrastructure & Platform: Experience with Terraform, AWS Cloud, Kubernetes (K8s), or other equivalent container technologies.
- System Design & Testing: Hands-on experience in system/software design and automated software testing (with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD pipelines).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A strong understanding of platform security and best practices for cloud-native applications.
