Department & position

Within the IT & Operations division, the department Digital Excellence Center (DEC) in Singapore is strong of 150 staff. Our center of excellence have established a recognized expertise on process digitalization and data analytics while our expertise on artificial intelligence is growing.

The Full Stack Developer we are looking for would work primarily on Python technology with the AIFactory team who is building NLP based algorithms to derive information from unstructured text, text documents, scanned documents, web sites, etc.

You contribute to the development of transversal projects, improvement of capabilities of the team and promote AI based application development.

Main responsibilities

• Research, Design, and Develop software.
• Analyses user needs and Develop Software Solutions
• Update software, enhances existing software capabilities and Develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.
• Work with other engineers to integrate hardware and/or software systems
• Develop specifications and performance requirements
• Developing & maintaining API interactions with the ML models
• Building & maintaining data processing pipelines
• Working closely with internal stakeholders / cross functional teams
• Other relevant duties as assigned

The position requires autonomy and reliability in performing duties while maintaining close communication with rest of stakeholders.

Profile and requirements

4+ years of total software development experience with detailed understanding of user interface frameworks, back-end software architecture interactions and design capabilities

Strong development experience in developing RESTful Web Services using Node.js or Python

4+ years of experience in developing software using following technologies:

• Python coding and data pipeline building
• NoSQL database preferably MongoDB
• Angular or React
• Restful Web API development with any API manager like WSO2

Strong knowledge & experience with code versioning using Git

Experience deploying and debugging Node.js or Python applications

Experience writing and running automated tests including, but not limited to, integration and unit
