Full Time Academic Instructor (Japanese Literature)

Job Description

1. Classroom teaching to Japanese students (medium of instructions: Japanese)
2. Prepare lesson material and assignments in compliance with Japanese curriculum and Japanese school examinations requirement (language to be used: Japanese)
3. Report to Management on students progress and achievement
4. Provide timely counselling to Japanese students and their parents regarding academic progress and overall conduct support students to meet academic goals
5. Oversee class management and administration according to school's policies and procedures
6. Maintain high standard of student conduct and discipline
7. Any ad-hoc duties as required

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Educational Qualification must be acceptable for teacher registration with MOE
2. Minimum a Bachelor degree
3. Japanese proficiency must be at native level all classes are taught in Japanese
4. At least 5 years of experience in academic field and teaching Japanese literature to Japanese students
5. Good communication skills to mantain good relationship with students, parents and colleagues
6. Prior experience in multi-cultural and diverse workplace environment
7. Willing to commit to the following working hours: 5 weekdays - 1pm to 10pm and Saturday - 9.30am to 7pm
8. Expected monthly remuneration is S$6,500 - S$7,500. Final monthly remuneration depends on relevant experience and qualifications
