We are seeking a highly motivated Functional/Systems Analyst to join our Information Technology Department. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic regional team responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Cash Management System, a critical platform that processes all domestic payments received from corporate customers across the region. You will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality, timely delivery of system solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze user business processes and requirements. Verify and validate these requirements, ensuring they are documented as functional and non-functional specifications.
- Work with cross-functional teams to analyze and define integration requirements between system modules and interfaces with other systems.
- Perform requirement traceability, identify out-of-scope requirements, escalate scope creep issues, and resolve conflicting, incomplete, or inaccurate requirements.
- Conduct detailed reviews of impact analysis (IA), functional and technical designs, and specifications prepared by vendors from both business and technical perspectives.
- Review, verify, and validate that system fixes are tested correctly before deployment to production. Track and resolve all reported defects, analyze root causes, and ensure solutions are tested thoroughly before implementation.
- Provide post-implementation support, including production troubleshooting, user queries, and handling change requests. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to investigate issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
- Support system enhancements, testing, and implementation, ensuring smooth rollout and minimal disruptions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Familiarity with Real-Time Gross Settlement Systems (RTGS), G3 FAST, SWIFT standards, ISO 20022, and other payment processing standards.
- Proficiency in gathering and analyzing business requirements, creating functional and technical specifications, and designing test cases.
- Strong understanding of all phases of IT system development and implementation, from planning to deployment.
- Knowledge of J2EE, Oracle, SQL, Unix/Linux, web application development, and IBM MQ.
- Strong analytical skills with the patience and ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively across teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
- A self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team. Experience with regional channel systems and working with diverse teams on medium to complex systems is an advantage.
- Experience in project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A minimum of 5-6 years of relevant experience in cash management, payment domains, and system analysis.
