- Identify and keep abreast with all compliance requirements with MAS .
- Responsible for the accounting, administration and reporting of a portfolio of the fund such as recording all accounting transactions, reviewing NAV managing audit managing fund cash flow addressing regulatory requirements tax annual returns filing etc.
- Maintain robust operations, controls and compliance frameworks and policies.
- A key point of contact between external parties and stakeholder management such as clients, investors, liaising with fund administrators, auditors, corporate secretary and other service providers.
- Assist in setting up entities for new funds which include incorporation, bank account opening, engagement with company secretary, fund administrative, tax agent, auditor and legal counsel.
- Manage other day to day operational processes and maintenance according to business needs.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years experience preferably in Asset Management and/or Fund Administration environment.
- Strong command of English to liaise with stakeholders
- Quick learner and possess flexibility in delivering efficient and innovative solutions.
- Able to multi-task and work independently but collaborate with and support colleagues where required in other areas of work when assigned to do so.
- Strong team player & fast learner who can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Organised, good time management, meticulous and great attention to details.
- Candidates with experience in asset management industry will be highly regarded.
