To expand our team's capabilities, we are seeking an organised and proactive fund operations analyst to support the Cocoon team with internal fund operations and marketing activities across the region. Your duties include investor relations management, fund administration processes, and CRM management.
Fund Operations Analyst scope and responsibilities
You will support the investment team on fund operational elements from the portfolio and investor-facing communication to internal operations. You will also maintain oversight of, and suggest improvements to, internal processes and work to improve quality and productivity.
Your role will include coordination with the managing partners on various human resource initiatives and you will support timely and accurate financial reporting to our investors and other stakeholders.
Finally, you will support additional ad hoc company needs like event planning and CRM content management.
Fund Operations Specialist scope and responsibilities
You will support the investment and advisory teams on the firm's operational activites, including:
Assist in preparing and distributing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as needed.
Assist with stakeholder requests and reports.
Suggest and implement improvements to existing internal processes and procedures.
Ensure the timely completion and dissemination of relevant portfolio updates.
Assist in other Finance and Operations duties when necessary.
Compile and organise CRM data.
Assist in the firm's day-to-day operations such as portfolio day event planning, mentoring office hours, social events, and other portfolio related events.
Job requirements
Successful candidates should possess:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 1 year of Fund Administration / buy-side experience.
Exceptional attention to detail, diligence, and a motivated approach to work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
The ability to work autonomously and proactively take initiative as needed.
Experience in venture capital or private equity funds is advantageous.
Prior accounting experience is advantageous.
Residency in Singapore.
