Position Overview
The Funding Operations Specialist will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely reports and other life-cycle management requirements to funding partners that finance our consumer receivables loan book, and data reporting to internal corporate finance, finance reporting and treasury teams.
This role involves coordination with internal stakeholders to meet requirements from external lenders promptly, striving for operational excellence. An inclination toward data extraction and analysis (of our consumer receivables) is desirable for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Data extraction, preparation and ensuring accuracy and completeness of data reports for funding partners based on lender requirements, and to address any discrepancies promptly.
- Life-cycle management through monitoring, tracking and ensuring compliance with funding partner requirements and covenants.
- Continuously seek ways to improve existing processes and increase efficiency for the funding operations team.
- Extract and analyze data from time to time as needed to support internal reporting and operational needs.
- Liaise with finance operations team for operational tasks for scheduled repayments and other payments through the Coupa system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Accounting and Finance, Analytics, Computer Science or a related field is a good to have.
- Experienced candidates with prior experience in Banking / Treasury roles (especially with familiarity in consumer loan receivables) is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint and some experience with finance operations systems.
- Good to have some experience in programming languages such as Python/SQL.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin would be a plus due to regional coverage.
- Keen to work in Fintech, with an interest in Finance and AI.
