Job Description

Location: Singapore & Malaysia

Industry: Healthcare, Wellness, and Stem Cell Therapy

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee our operations in Singapore and Malaysia. This role will focus on our healthcare and wellness business, specifically in the field of stem cell therapy. The ideal candidate will have experience in a public company environment and the ability to contribute to fundraising efforts. You will be responsible for managing profit & loss, cash flow, and the overall performance of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

. Operational Leadership: Lead the day-to-day operations across both Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring smooth execution of business strategies and meeting organizational objectives.

. Financial Oversight: Manage P&L, cash flow, and budgeting, ensuring financial health and profitability. Monitor key financial metrics and provide strategic recommendations to improve performance.

. Business Development: Drive growth through strategic partnerships, identifying new opportunities for business expansion. Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement new business models and initiatives.

. Fundraising & Investor Relations: Support fundraising activities, including liaising with investors, potential partners, and stakeholders. Contribute to investor communications and financial reporting.

. Compliance & Governance: Ensure operations are compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements in both Singapore and Malaysia. Maintain strong relationships with relevant authorities and stakeholders.

. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Provide guidance to senior managers and department heads.

. Market Strategy: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, providing insights and strategic direction to stay ahead in the healthcare and wellness market.

. Customer Experience: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards and improving operational efficiencies in service delivery.

Requirements:

. Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in healthcare, wellness, or related industries, with a strong focus on operations management. Experience in a public company setting is a plus.

. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of successfully managing teams and driving organizational change.

. Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

. Fundraising & Business Development: Experience in fundraising or investor relations is highly desirable. A strong network in the healthcare, wellness, or stem cell therapy industry is an advantage.

. Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management, P&L responsibility, budgeting, and cash flow management.

. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

. Hands-on & Results-Driven: Proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented approach to driving business success.

. Educational Qualification: A degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field is preferred.
