Job Description

Motorway is the sole dealer for the KGM (formerly known as SsangYong) and Qingling (commercial) in Singapore. With a focus on excellence in customer service, we proudly offer a diverse lineup of KGM vehicles, including the upcoming electric vehicle (EV) models. We are now seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the KGM sales division, drive growth, and ensure the success of this innovative brand in Singapore.

The General Manager will oversee the two brands showroom and sales operations, ensuring a welcoming, well-presented environment that showcases our diverse range of vehicles. This role will lead the sales team, manage the financial performance of the division, and work closely with marketing to expand their presence in Singapore. The ideal candidate is a seasoned automotive sales leader with a track record in strategic planning, team development, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily showroom operations, ensuring a premium experience for all visitors and an appealing display of KGM and Qingling vehicles.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, increase market share, and maximize profit margins.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that expand brand visibility and attract new customers.
  • Provide training, support, and motivation to the sales team, building a high-performance culture focused on exceptional service and sales excellence.
  • Establish customer service standards that prioritize an outstanding purchasing experience and timely resolution of any issues.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies, promotions, and incentives to attract diverse customer segments.
  • Use data analytics and market insights to refine sales processes, enhance efficiency, and improve customer engagement.
  • Ensure showroom compliance with industry regulations and manage risks associated with sales operations.
  • Continuously drive initiatives to boost customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and customer retention.

Reqiurements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of automotive sales experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Proven expertise in showroom management, sales strategy development, and market expansion.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with EV sales and knowledge of the Singapore automotive market are advantageous.
