What is the role
As a Generalist Marketer at Splore, you will be at the heart of our marketing operations, supporting key initiatives that drive brand awareness and business growth. You will work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals, assist in executing brand-building strategies, and coordinate with external vendors for specialist marketing tasks like SEO, social media, and performance marketing. This role is ideal for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a startup environment and contribute to a variety of marketing activities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring alignment with brand goals and sales objectives.
Support the sales team by providing marketing materials, insights, and lead generation strategies.
Help build and maintain the Splore brand through consistent messaging, creative content, and strategic marketing efforts.
Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for specialized marketing tasks, including SEO, social media management, and performance marketing.
Manage and update social media accounts, ensuring timely and engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
Organize and promote events, webinars, and other marketing activities, ensuring seamless execution and maximum engagement.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
Monitor and report on marketing performance, providing insights to optimize future campaigns.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive and effective marketing communication across all channels.
Attributes
We are looking for a Generalist Marketer with the following:
1-2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within a startup or tech environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in coordinating with external vendors and managing third-party relationships.
Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and content management systems.
Basic understanding of SEO, PPC, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
