Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Genesys CloudCX Software Engineer with extensive experience in the Genesys platform, along with a strong background in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing solutions using Genesys technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of CloudCX environments and their integration with customer engagement systems.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design customer-centric solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and enhance the overall user experience through custom development.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement Genesys CloudCX solutions in alignment with business requirements.
Collaborate with the development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of the Genesys platform.
Create and maintain APIs for integration with third-party systems, enhancing customer engagement.
Develop user interfaces and dashboards using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to improve the customer experience.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Participate in requirements gathering and architectural discussions to craft high-quality solutions.
Maintain and enhance existing systems, ensuring they meet current and future business needs.
Optimize and fine-tune Genesys systems for performance, security, and scalability.
Document processes, workflows, and best practices for the development and deployment of Genesys solutions.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership within the team.
Required Skills and Experience:
10+ years of experience working with Genesys technologies, including CloudCX.
5-10 years of experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Strong knowledge of Genesys Cloud, PureEngage, PureConnect, and related APIs.
Expertise in the development and deployment of voice, chat, email, and other omnichannel solutions using Genesys.
Proven experience in integrating Genesys platforms with third-party tools and CRMs.
Experience in developing custom widgets, plugins, and UIs for Genesys applications.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in complex, multi-vendor environments.
Familiarity with cloud architectures, microservices, and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.
Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based deployments.
