Geotechnical Engineer

Position: Engineer (Geotechnical)

Specialisation: Engineer-Civil/Construction/Structural

. Supervise the Geotechnical Monitoring/ Instrumentation work & Soil Investigation work

. Supervise, arrange and coordinate with main contractor & consultant for site inspection of bored piling work

. Monitor and ensure that progress of work is accordance with work schedules as well as the placement of material

. Geological (soil & rock) confirmation for required design depth of toe level

. Data collection & compilation of records

. Ensure the construction works to comply with all the relevant regulation and special specification.

. In charge of construction submission, approval and inspection procedures in Singapore.

. Responsible for shop drawing, as-built drawing.

. Site inspection, management and coordinate on site activities.

. Ensure safety & compliance of work on site.

. Control and maintain the safe and smooth progress of the works.

. Help arrange the site work and schedule

. Any ad hoc duties as and when assigned by management.

Requirements:

. Degree in Geotechnical Engineering / Civil Engineering

. Positive working attitude

. Minimum 2 - 5 years of geotechnical experience

. Good interpersonal and analytical skills

. Communication in English to clients and workers

. Experience in Bored Pilling will be an added advantage

. Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
