The Company

Global MNC and an industry leader is currently hiring a driven & hands-on audit talent to oversee a Regional IA portfolio (Travel requirement: up to 8 trips a year expected).

This is an individual contributor position and expected to be hands-on in a lean audit team structure. The successful candidate shall have strong audit technical competencies, and regional internal audit experience in the commercial sector is a must.

Budget

$10,000 - $11,000 per month + Bonus

Requirements

• Degree qualified with CIA qualification
• Minimum 8 years of relevant Regional Internal Audit experience in the commercial sector
• Desired traits: Team player, highly hands-on, independent, has a positive attitude, able to challenge status quo, an ability to work in a lean structure and has high initiative
• Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin as the portfolio includes liaison with Greater China counterparts
• Stable career track record
• Prior external audit foundation may be helpful
• Comfortable with 30% travelling requirement (Up to 8 trips a year, and 2 weeks travel each time)

Job Scope

As the Internal Audit Manager, you will be an individual contributor and working in a lean Asia Pacific IA team. You will be responsible for planning and managing the execution of financial, operational and strategic audits, as well as in providing inputs to annual audit plans. This includes documenting and reporting of audit findings, as well as training of in-country finance teams on internal control requirements.

You will be responsible in providing independent assurance that the Group's risk management, governance and internal control processes are operating effectively. You will also focus on providing recommendations to management with insight into best practices and in establishing an operation that will further strengthen IA effectiveness within the Group. This can be achieved by preparing concise reports on observations and recommendations to the Board for corrective actions.

The successful candidate should be a mature, independent and proactive team player who has strong critical thinking and positive stakeholder management skills. 40-50% travelling requirement can be expected.
