The Company

My client is an established company in the Shipping industry. Keen to hire a responsible and hands-on Finance Manager to oversee a Singapore finance portfolio. Shipping or related industry exposure can be advantageous.

The successful candidate is a self-starter with an ability to work in an unstructured and high-volume environment and is comfortable in managing ambiguities and changes.

Requirements

• Experience in overseeing full spectrum of day-to-day Finance & Accounting responsibilities
• Shipping or related industry exposure will be helpful
• Team management experience
• Immediately available or 1-month notice period
• Traits:Proactive, hands-on, flexible, resilient, able to work with ambiguities, resourceful, self-starter

Budget

SGD 7,000 8,000 per month

Job Scope

As the Finance Manager, you will be responsible in overseeing daily Finance and Accounting responsibilities, including accounting operations (AP, AR, GL), monthly and annual financial reports, financial planning, variance analysis, budgeting & forecasting, audit and tax. You will review existing processes, identify and execute improvement initiatives. You will also monitor cash flow, support in debt management and participate in any ad-hoc projects as a finance representative from Singapore.
