Job Summary
Reporting to the VP of Global Sales Operations, the Global Sales Channel Partner, SCP, Manager position is located in Singapore. This newly created position offers an opportunity to collaborate with the divisional sales leadership and Entegris trade compliance team to establish regional strategic priorities. The primarily be focus for the position will be driving compliance improvement for SCPs in Asia, rationalizing the SCP structure in Japan and recommending new SCP networks in emerging regions. Broad responsibilities include reviewing adherence to compliance and other defined SCP expectations, vetting new partners, and providing sustaining SCP oversight. The position will also work closely with Entegris Trade Compliance team to ensure SCPs are providing effective oversight to satisfy trade compliance requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in channel management, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and an understanding of Compliance requirements in Asia, specifically China
Key Responsibilities
Ensure SCPs are effectively supporting regional trade compliance requirements. Specifically, address the risk of non-compliance, introduce proper controls for monitoring compliance and perform periodic audits commensurate with risk factors.
Support Trade Compliance efforts and initiatives to improve compliance within the SCP arena.
Conduct root cause analysis for any deficiencies associated with SCP and drive corrective actions to address areas of non-compliance.
Assume leadership role in vetting new Sales Channel Partners and onboarding process within emerging markets.
Lead rationalization of Sales Channel Partner and reseller roles in Japan. Analyze and understand the cultural business practices to make recommendations that improve effectiveness and look for opportunities for consolidation.
Collaborate with the divisional sales team to develop a strong alignment with the sales leadership on SCPs objectives and oversight.
Working with divisional sales leadership consider opportunities to consolidate the numbers of SCP while ensuring regional coverage is aligned with divisional go-to-market strategies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Asia SCPs and work closely with them to achieve mutual goals.
Offer input on KPIs and strategic objectives for non-China and emerging market SCPs.
Provide oversight of the Reseller Core Operating Processes for adherence to Trade Compliance requirements, monitoring, and improvement processes.
Requisite Criteria & Skills
5-7 years of experience in channel management
Bachelors degree in business or related field
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to partners and stakeholders
Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
Experience in regulatory / trade compliance.
