Job Description
Within Miltenyi Biotecs Global Technical Support Team, you join our group of global specialists supporting Miltenyi´s various product portfolios. You provide expert-level technical support, deliver product trainings, and support products along their complete lifecycle.
You provide Technical Support to worldwide colleagues (sales, support and service), distributors and customers. This includes answering inquiries, providing application support, investigating and troubleshooting technical issues. You handle complaints in collaboration with other departments. You carefully document your support activities and also collect, analyze and communicate data required for analysis of product performance. You manage and maintain our product knowledge database.
You occasionally provide on-site support during customer demos, instrument installations or troubleshooting.
You create, manage and deliver product training in-house and in the field worldwide.
You support products by working with marketing, R&D and production during all stages of the product lifecycle.
You take part in global projects to develop processes, tools and to launch new products.
Qualifications
You hold an academic degree in natural science engineering or a comparable scientific education, a PhD is a plus.
Proven experience in different biological fields like cell biology, immunology, hematology, neurology, or stem cells is essential. Experience with flow cytometry, imaging, cell culture, functional assays, transfusion medicine or cell processing is an advantage.
As a strong communicator in English, you discuss technical issues and convince stakeholders via written and oral presentations.
You are skilled in serving customers and have a strong service-oriented mindset.
Additional Information
This position follows a 5-day work week with 40 hours working time (monthly average) and the regular working hours are 8:00-17:
This position requires the ability for international travel up to 40% of the time during the first 9 months (up to 3 weeks per trip), and international travel up to 20% of the time as part of routine duties.
