Our client, a prominent FMCG company, is embarking on an exciting business transformation journey through the implementation of a cutting-edge ERP solution across its operations. As the Local Delivery Lead, you will play a critical role in this transformation, guiding the local deployment of the ERP system to ensure it aligns with both regional needs and the overarching business goals. You'll be the bridge between the local teams and the global project stakeholders, ensuring seamless implementation and fostering change within the organization.
The Role
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of the Peak ERP implementation for the local business unit or region, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, capturing and incorporating local requirements into the overall project framework.
- Act as the primary contact for local stakeholders, facilitating clear and consistent communication, status updates, and risk assessments with both local and global teams.
- Collaborate with business leaders and department heads to align local business processes with the Target Operating Model (TOM), ensuring regulatory and operational needs are met while supporting process standardization.
- Identify and address project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies and escalating to senior leadership when necessary.
- Drive change management efforts, coordinating communication and training for local teams, and ensuring readiness for the new ERP processes.
- Oversee local testing, including system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), validating that the ERP system meets functional and business requirements.
- Coordinate a smooth go-live process by preparing local teams, conducting final checks, and ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Provide post-implementation support, assisting with troubleshooting during the stabilization phase and collecting feedback for ongoing improvements.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in managing ERP or large-scale IT projects within transformation programs.
- Proven experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics, with a solid understanding of business processes in FMCG or related industries.
- Strong project management skills, proficient in tools like MS Project and Jira PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with experience managing expectations and providing clear, concise project updates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on risk management and issue resolution.
- Familiarity with local regulatory requirements impacting ERP implementations, ensuring project alignment with compliance standards.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex projects, effectively managing resources, timelines, and project deliverables.
