We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented JD Edwards Support Specialist to join our client, a leading global FMCG company in providing key support across the Record to Report and the Reporting, Planning & Analytics streams.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, assisting with JD Edwards applications and interfacing systems. As a JDE Support Specialist, you will be responsible for a range of tasks, from basic support and troubleshooting to managing monthly processes and providing user training.
The Role
- Provide JD Edwards support for users in the Record to Record and Reporting, Planning & Analytics streams, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure smooth system operations.
- Manage user requests submitted via the ServiceNow Service Catalogue, ensuring timely fulfilment of simple change requests and providing guidance on ServiceNow usage.
- Create and maintain user documentation and detailed work instructions to ensure consistency and clarity in system processes and user activities.
- Perform the monthly exchange rate upload for all operating companies in JD Edwards, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the system.
- Conduct analysis and update transaction batch status in JD Edwards to ensure alignment and proper processing of data.
- Monitor incoming e-Bank statements in JD Edwards, identifying and addressing any new or erroneous files to maintain smooth financial operations.
- Manage user access within JD Edwards and other interface systems, providing support to resolve access issues and maintain system security.
- Offer support for other interface systems connected to JD Edwards, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
Your Profile
- Strong experience with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP systems, particularly within RTR or RP&A modules.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and an understanding of request fulfilment processes.
- Ability to create clear documentation, including work instructions and user guides.
- Experience working with financial data, including exchange rate management and bank statement reconciliation.
- Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Good understanding of Access Management and troubleshooting issues related to user permissions and system interfaces.
- Strong communication skills and ability to assist users with varying levels of technical expertise.
