ABOUT
The Airspace Mobility Solutions (AMS) business, part of the Global Business Unit Land and Air Systems, is providing leading edge Air Traffic Management (ATM), Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM), Security and Digital Aviation solutions for the Commercial and Defence sectors.
The AMS business manages 11% of the worlds airspace and with revenues of over 500 million Euros worldwide, is the global market leader in airspace management solutions. In Singapore, the business focus is the delivery and support of two key ATM solutions including TopSKY-ATC(HE) and LORADS-III.
This role is within the Systems Engineering Discipline which supports and enables mobility between projects to meet the needs of the AMS business.
ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
As a Graduate Verification & Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the integration, verification, and validation activities of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system and software to ensure they meet specified requirements and standards. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and be involved in integrating and troubleshooting system issues to ensure the various components are working seamlessly together and verifying and validating the system to ensure product requirements are satisfied.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Graduate Verification & Validation Engineer, you will:
Participate in requirements analysis to ensure requirements are unambiguous and verifiable
Assist in the setup of test environments to facilitate the integration, testing and acceptance activities required by the program.
Contribute to successfully integrate and verify incremental software releases for systems and/or subsystems, in accordance with the schedule set by the Technical Leads and WPM
Contribute to testing activities across multiple platforms (regression, interface, simulation scenarios and test tools) to support project milestones and deadlines
Able to analyse System/Subsystem technical and functional issues, ensuring they are identified early, captured fully and logged according to internal processes.
Collaborate with System, Software and Infrastructure teams to ensure that the integration activities are in line with the design and specifications
Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Prepare and maintain documentation related to IVV activities, including test plans, procedure and reports.
Produce scripts in order to automate system administration tasks.
Implement test & measuring tools used for system performance, loading and response-time assessment

To be successful in your role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
Qualifications
Degree in Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Science/ Engineering, IT or similar
A passion for aviation/aerospace
Desirable Skills
Ability to understand the structure of and troubleshoot Virtualisation Platforms/Operating Systems (Clients/Servers)
Linux/Unix Operating Systems, SNMP Services, RSYSLOG
