Position Title: Grinding Technician
- Working Location: Kallang
Working Hours:
- 5 days (Mon-Fri 8.30 am 5.30 pm, Sat 8.30 am 12.30 pm)
- Salary Package: Basic $3,500 + Performance Bonus
Duration: Permanent
Operate and maintain grinding machinery to produce parts and components according to specifications.- Set up machines, select proper grinding wheels and attachments, and perform necessary adjustments.
Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on grinding machines to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.- Monitor the grinding process and make adjustments to machines as needed to maintain product quality.
Keep accurate records of production activities, including quantities produced, machine settings, and maintenance performed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist in developing and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
NITEC or higher in engineering or related field.- At least 2 years of experience operating grinding machines in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of grinding techniques, machine operations, and maintenance.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
