The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a Group ESG Manager to join our Supply Chain team in Singapore on a full time basis.

Reporting to the Group Enabling Functions, AMENA Supply Chain Director, core focus of the role is to identify, develop/evolve, implement/execute, and manage ESG initiatives, compliance and reporting across the iNova group as part of the iNova Operations team. The primary objective is to align business policies with ESG practices while driving transparency, compliance, and positive social impact. This position acts as a bridge between the company's ESG objectives and strategic priorities, driving value creation for the company and its stakeholders

Key Accountabilities And Performance Indicators Include

  • Lead ESG initiatives across the group. Develop/evolve and implement/execute ESG strategies, policies, and compliance and reporting framework , in partnership with other functions that align with the organization's values and goals
  • Conduct ESG assessment and identify key sustainability risks, opportunities, and performance indicators and advise management with respect to same
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate prioritized ESG practices across functions, including Operations / Supply chain, Human Resource, Finance
  • Oversee ESG data collection and analysis to ensure accuracy OR Implement a centralized ESG data management system
  • Monitor and report on ESG performance, ensuring group-wide compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and reporting frameworks and internal policies.
  • Engage with EMO/major suppliers / service providers, to embed Supplier code of conduct requirements and conduct regular checks/audits (within SRM framework) to ensure compliance
  • Actively work with external stakeholders to educate and promote ESG innovation/best practice
  • Develop employee engagement programs
  • Stay updated on emerging ESG trends, best practices, and regulatory developments to drive continuous improvement

About You


To be successful in this role, you will possess the following experience and personal attributes:

  • Demonstrated experience in a management role within ESG.
  • Minimum 5 years post qualification experience; 10 plus years experience highly regarded
  • Knowledge of ESG principles, compliance requirements and emerging issues ideally with a global lens and global experience. Specific experience with packaging innovation and regulation will be highly valued, particularly in the pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors.
  • Proficiency in conducting ESG assessments, analyzing data, and identifying material issues.
  • Proficiency with ESG reporting standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD) and experience in preparing ESG reports.
  • Experience developing and implementing ESG strategies, policies, and framework tailored to the organization's size and objectives
  • Financial acumen to link sustainability initiatives to business value and articulate the financial implications of ESG practices.
  • Proficient in project management, data analysis, and utilizing ESG-related software tools (Preferred)
  • Relevant tertiary degree (essential) and relevant industry certifications/qualifications in ESG and/or rating and reporting systems (preferred)
  • Strong industry networks with key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders, influence change, and effectively communicate ESG initiatives.
  • Exceptional project management, research, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify risks, develop action plan and measure impact.
  • Adaptability to navigate complex and evolving ESG challenges.
