Accounting/Finance degree or equivalent professional qualifications with at least 5 years of relevant working experience, including prior managerial experience (preferably at a Big 4 Auditing firm)
CPA/CA preferred
Prior experience working with regional offices
Well-versed in SFRS (I) requirements and familiar with SGX reporting regulations
Strong knowledge of internal controls and business processes
Strong business acumen and the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize financial data into actionable insights
Must be willing to travel
Description
Manage all accounting aspects and ensure they are in compliance with respective local and group accounting standards.
Implement and ensure compliance with corporate internal control requirements including financial and operational policies and procedures.
Assist in various projects including digitization efforts to improve finance processes and efficiency.
Ensure a timely and accurate monthly financial close for the group in accordance with the group reporting timeline for internal and external reporting purposes and adherence to external reporting timeline (including statutory timeline and SGX reporting timeline).
Review full set of consolidated accounts
Review of monthly management reports and perform/review variance analysis
Work closely with regional business and country teams to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial close and reporting
Preparation of quarterly business highlights and half-yearly results announcement for SGX reporting
Managing local statutory audits and liaising with local professional advisors.
Coordinate and drive the budgeting, forecasting and working capital management of the regions.
Provide financial analyses to support regional management and participate in the preparation of strategic plans.
