Frazer Jones are delighted to be retained on a Group HR Director search with a renowned and growing international education institution based in Singapore.
Spurred by strong business objectives and growth across Asia and ME markets, there is a need to hire a seasoned Group HR Director. This individual will be instrumental in supporting and advancing the HR strategy across the organization's various campuses and schools portfolio wide, leading an HR team of 100+ people spread internationally.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Group HR Director will serve as a key advisor and partner to the senior leadership team. This role involves designing, advising on, and executing HR strategies and initiatives to support the organization's growth across the Asia region, including Greater China as well as the Middle East.
The Group HR Director will lead a large and geographically dispersed team of HR professionals, overseeing all facets of HR such as talent acquisition, management, performance, organizational development, compensation and benefits, HR operations, and employer branding.
As part of their HR transformation journey, the HR Director will foster a high-performance culture and establish top-tier HR operational processes and policies to enhance resource efficiency and optimization. This includes coaching and mentoring the HR team to identify and pursue learning and growth opportunities, advising a highly collaborative and forward-thinking leadership team, and delivering exceptional HR service.
Amongst their HR strategies and projects, there will continue to be a focus in their talent pool which includes talent retention, talent development, future/talent engagement and the talent readiness, to maintain their Employer of Choice status in the region.
You should have at least 15 years of HR leadership experience with a track record of deploying high level HR strategies to support growth and/or fast paced business with an ambitious M&A trajectory. You are familiar with a fast-paced and matrix organization with proven abilities to be a coach and mentor large teams. You are a skilled, culturally sensitive relationship builder to be able to engage people in a positive manner and invest time and energy into stakeholder management. PE experience is preferable. Mandarin speaking or historical coverage of China is also desirable.
With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you should be a visionary and able to communicate your ideas and vision in a way that builds alignment and support.
Coupled with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, you should be a persuasive communicator who is able to thoughtful about leverage data to effectively communicate HR initiatives to the leadership team and wider organisation.
