If you're passionate about showcasing the value of creative work, adept at connecting with the right clients, and energized by the challenge of opening doors and sealing deals, this role is for you.

Role Overview:

As Growth Director, you'll play a key role in expanding the agency's reach and reputation by securing valuable new business opportunities. Your mission will be to position the agency as a preferred partner, creating impactful client relationships and ensuring a consistent presence on key pitch lists. This role demands a skilled networker with a deep understanding of agency services and the confidence to passionately sell the agency's unique value to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Identify and pursue high-potential clients across diverse sectors. Research, connect, and cultivate leads, ensuring the agency's visibility and engagement with decision-makers.
  • Pitching & Positioning: Craft and deliver compelling pitches that effectively communicate the agency's creative solutions and drive client buy-in.
  • Relationship Development: Build and sustain lasting client relationships, acting as a proactive ambassador for the agency and consistently seeking ways to add value.
  • Strategic Selling: Collaborate with internal teams to create customized strategies and pitches that align with client needs and agency strengths.
  • Market Insight: Keep informed of industry trends, competitor moves, and client needs to spot new business opportunities and keep the agency top-of-mind.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, strategy, and account management teams to ensure a cohesive and strategic approach to new business efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7-10+ years in business development, new business, or client acquisition within an ad agency or similar field.
  • Proven Success: A track record of building client relationships, securing pitch list placements, and driving successful new business outcomes.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to persuade, negotiate, and inspire confidence.
  • Network Savvy: Strong networking abilities and the skill to build rapport quickly with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Motivation: A proactive, self-starting attitude with a relentless drive to open doors, create opportunities, and close deals.
