Job Description:

You will be task to care for and teach a class of children from 18 months to 6 years of age in Montessori activities. Engage them in storytelling, song and dance as well as plentiful of sensorial activities to work on their fine and gross motor skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out Montessori lessons as per the centre's guidelines according to their teaching pedagogy.
• Writing lesson plans for suitable age groups and maintaining a conducive classroom environment.
• Foster a joy for learning and celebrating the children's developmental milestones as well as documenting them.
• Give regular feedbacks to the parents on the development of their children with regards to lessons and daily routine care.
• Create a classroom environment that is safe, joyful and conducive for learning as well as ensure the delivery of age-appropriate activities and lessons.
• Guide and develop lifelong skills and values in children and engage them in purposeful play.

Requirements:

• Minimum with a Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education - Teaching (DECCE-T or CECCCE), Diploma in Child Psychology & Early Education - L2
• Minimum with a Certificate/Diploma in Montessori Teaching
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A team player with passion in equipping and inspiring young lives.
• Love to interact with young children between 18 months to 6 years of age.
