Hardware Engineer Lead

Position Overview:

The hardware lead will spearhead the development and deployment hardware solutions. This pivotal role entails team leadership, ensuring projects align with quality benchmarks and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Hardware Design and Development:

• Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of hardware systems, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
• Architect hardware solutions, including schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection, ensuring the design is manufacturable and cost-effective.
• Ensure that designs are scalable and maintainable while meeting product performance, cost, and timeline goals.

Testing and Validation:

• Oversee the development of test plans and validation processes to ensure that hardware products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of hardware prototypes and production units.
• Develop and track test reports, failure analysis, and corrective actions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering teams with expertise in audio DSP engineering.
