Position Overview:
The hardware lead will spearhead the development and deployment hardware solutions. This pivotal role entails team leadership, ensuring projects align with quality benchmarks and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Hardware Design and Development:
- Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of hardware systems, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
- Architect hardware solutions, including schematic design, PCB layout, and component selection, ensuring the design is manufacturable and cost-effective.
- Ensure that designs are scalable and maintainable while meeting product performance, cost, and timeline goals.
Testing and Validation:
- Oversee the development of test plans and validation processes to ensure that hardware products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of hardware prototypes and production units.
- Develop and track test reports, failure analysis, and corrective actions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in engineering teams with expertise in audio DSP engineering.
