Head of Asset Management & Operations (Renewable Energy)
Our client is a fast growing renewable energy company with a diverse portfolio of wind, solar, and other renewable energy projects. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Asset Management to drive the management of the renewable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy that aligns with the company's long-term goals in renewable energy. Lead initiatives to optimize the performance and profitability of the asset portfolio.
- Oversee the management of the company's renewable energy assets, including wind farms, solar plants, and other clean energy projects. Ensure that all assets operate efficiently, meet performance targets, and comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous monitoring, data analysis, and performance optimization. Implement best practices for asset maintenance, risk management, and life-cycle cost analysis.
- Act as the primary point of contact for investors, regulators, and other key stakeholders regarding asset performance and management. Provide regular updates and reports on asset performance and strategic initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in renewable energy. Champion the adoption of innovative solutions to enhance asset management practices and drive efficiency.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate operational, financial, and market risks associated with the asset portfolio. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing asset management team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in asset management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale renewable energy assets, including wind, solar, and other clean energy projects.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and industry best practices in renewable energy.
- Ability to think strategically and execute operationally, balancing short-term needs with long-term objectives.
