A global travel retail company is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Business Development to lead their expansion efforts across Asia. As a key member of the Business Development team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic growth initiatives, building strong relationships with key partners, and driving revenue and market share in this exciting region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for Asia, aligned with the company's overall growth objectives.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the travel retail sector across Asia.
- Lead the negotiation and closing of commercial agreements with key partners, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the travel retail industry.
- Develop and oversee the execution of joint business plans with key partners to maximize sales and profitability.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and identify new growth opportunities.
- Manage a team of business development professionals and provide coaching and mentorship.
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets for the Asia region.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management on business development activities and performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or a related field, with a proven track record of success in the travel retail industry.
- Strong understanding of the travel retail landscape in Asia, including key players, trends, and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans.
- Deep knowledge of commercial contracting principles.
- Experience in managing and motivating a team.
- Fluency in English.
