Team Introduction
The Global Communications team at TikTok is responsible for all external communications related to the company. We're currently looking for a dynamic senior communications professional to join our fast-paced Global Communications team. As Head of Communications for the APAC region, you will be responsible for providing ongoing counsel and partnership to the company's senior leaders across the region, while leading, inspiring and motivating a highly-engaged team.

We're looking for a strong leader who is passionate about technology and innovation. At TikTok, our leaders are also doers and you have proven experience conceptualizing, planning, and executing projects that have meaningful business impact. You're able to effectively manage through complex decisions and challenges, using sound judgement and expertise to mitigate risks and ensure the best outcomes. As a strategic leader, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Public Policy to create cohesive and compelling communication strategies.

Ideal candidates are resilient, entrepreneurial-minded leaders who work well in an ever-evolving environment. You have strong media relationships. You collaborate with ease across teams and are able to weigh big picture objectives with immediate business needs. You're good at connecting the dots and you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. And you lead with a compassionate, people-first mindset. This role reports to the Chief Brand & Communications Officer.

Responsibilities:
- Advance the team's business objectives and enhance and protect corporate reputation in support of building our brand
- Develop regional comms strategies that provide direction and positioning of the company's brand and key initiatives
- Working closely with government Relations, develop and implement strategic communications goals to enhance company's reputation and key initiatives
- Build strong creative consumer campaigns, in partnership with Marketing, that help grow brand affinity
- Identify strategic priorities across the APAC region aligned with cross-functional partners and mapped to overall business objectives and mitigate risk
- Experience and strong relationships with industry media and key business within the APAC region
- Provide leadership to the APAC Comms team
- Foster a culture of recognition, learning and growing for a highly-engaged team
