Primary Responsibilities:
Strategy:
- Demonstrate the value of modern technology to enable the business to meet its objectives.
- Lead the vision for Portfolio Unit Digital Solutions transformation, fostering innovation and flexibility in IT management and service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to co-create an IT strategy that meets business needs.
- Contribute to the development and execution of a forward-thinking data and information strategy.
Service Delivery Leadership:
- Take responsibility for development, delivery and monitoring of both an IT strategy and support delivery of a data and information strategy.
- Lead delivery teams to meet customer expectations by executing projects on time, within budget, and to high standards.
- Implement risk management strategies for both ongoing operations and project transformations.
- Champion continuous improvement to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Transformation:
- Collaborate with potential clients to identify their business needs and align them with innovative digital solutions.
- Evolve IT from a support role into a strategic partner that empowers the business with the necessary tools and information to achieve success.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, responsive support functions while driving improvements.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Influence and communicate with key stakeholders and customers including and not limited to local senior management and executive management.
- Develop a compelling communication strategy to highlight the value of IT and the impact of digital transformation initiatives.
Programme Management:
- Take overall responsibility for the portfolio of projects which will deliver both the IT strategy, data and information strategy.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Determine resource requirements to meet business needs cost effectively and coming up a strategy to meet these requirements, ensuring that project teams are staffed appropriately and efficiently.
- Formulate and agree annual revenue and capital budgets for Digital Solutions and corporate programs, ensuring that the delivery of IT and programs are against the budget.
Requirements:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, including strategic planning, service delivery, and transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience in leading digital transformation, aligning technology with business goals, and delivering complex IT solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale IT programs, including program management and budget oversight.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of modern IT frameworks, cloud-based solutions, digital tools, and emerging technologies.
- Experience developing and executing data and information strategies to drive business value.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and ability to implement robust risk mitigation strategies for IT projects.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
Leadership:
- A strategic thinker with the ability to align IT capabilities with business objectives and communicate this vision effectively to stakeholders.
- Proven track record in building, leading, and mentoring high-performance teams while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Strong leadership in managing IT service delivery with a focus on operational excellence, process optimization, and cost efficiency.

- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Skilled at influencing and engaging senior leadership and clients to support IT initiatives and digital transformation efforts.
- Experience developing and executing communication strategies to clearly articulate the business value of IT.
