Head of Finance BPO / Global Client Engagement Lead to drive operational excellence and strengthen client relationships across our global BPO portfolio.
This individual will play a key role in shaping the future of the company's shared services function while leveraging their strong background in accounting, tax, and business process outsourcing. They will lead a high-performing team, deliver outstanding business solutions, and be the strategic advisor clients rely on for success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership of Shared Services Operations:
- The candidate will oversee shared services, optimizing processes across accounting, tax, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery. They will implement best practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and maintain high standards of performance.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Acting as the primary point of contact for key clients, this leader will build and nurture strong relationships, providing tailored solutions that meet clients unique business needs. They will be the strategic partner clients trust for insightful guidance and support.
- Commercial Strategy & Presales Involvement:
- The individual will work closely with the business development team on presales activities, including RFP responses, client presentations, and solution proposals. They will lead the development of Statements of Work (SOW), pricing strategies, and contract negotiations, contributing to the growth of the business.
- Service Delivery Excellence:
- The candidate will manage the end-to-end delivery of business services, ensuring client satisfaction, adherence to SLAs, and resolution of any escalated issues. They will use data-driven insights to continuously enhance service quality.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- As a people-focused leader, they will mentor and develop a diverse team of shared services professionals. They will drive team performance, foster a culture of collaboration, and ensure the team is equipped to meet evolving client needs.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Accounting & Tax Expertise: The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant (CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent) with extensive experience in accounting, finance, and tax processes.
- BPO/Business Services Background: They have a proven track record in a BPO or shared services environment, managing complex, multi-client engagements across global markets.
- Client-Focused & Commercially Savvy: They possess strong client relationship skills, with experience in presales, SOW development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
- Proven Leadership Capability: Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams, driving operational efficiency, and delivering results in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent Communication & Problem-Solving Skills: They excel in resolving complex client issues, navigating escalations, and providing a seamless experience for clients and stakeholders.
