Head of New Business and Underwriting Operations required for a leading global insurer! This is a new position, joining at a senior level - excellent opportunity for the right candidate to make a regional impact within a market leader.
Responsibilities:
- Lead operations for the region across New Business and Underwriting functions - Life Insurance business
- Drive process optimization/standardisation for the region
- Strong service excellence focus - oversee processes and optimize for cost efficiency
- Report directly to COO
- Regional role (APAC)
Requirements:
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Extensive operations experience for new business and/or underwriting functions
- Hands on working experience and understanding of underwriting (e.g. underwriter that has moved to operations OR Head of Underwriting keen to transition to Head of Ops function)
- Extensive Life Insurance background (General Insurance candidates cannot be considered)
- Process improvement experience
