Head of Product - Computer Vision and Analysis

Background

Antomation is a Singapore based Deep Tech startup. Their primary focus is to provide innovative solutions with the help of robotics, automation and computer vision to improve the efficiency of niche tasks in semiconductor and aviation industries. The solutions are custom developed to solve specific problems for the clients. We are looking for a talented and motivated Computer Vision Engineer to join our team. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge technologies for our mechanical or industrial automation engineering projects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that will transform the way our clients operate and enhance their productivity.

Job scope

Responsibilities

• Develop computer vision algorithms and models for image and video analysis.
• Develop algorithms to translate the captured data to provide decisions to integrated robotics and mechanical systems.
• Design and implement computer vision software applications for industrial and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into existing systems.
• Conduct tests and experiments to evaluate the performance of computer vision algorithms.
• Optimize computer vision algorithms for real-time applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning research.
• Design and decide on the optimum hardware required (including types of cameras).
• Document and communicate technical concepts and project progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 5+ years in computer vision development, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
• Proficiency in using computer vision libraries and frameworks such as OpenCV and TensorFlow.
• Solid understanding of image and video processing techniques.
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
