(1) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- HSSEQ Standards and Core Business Processes: Ensure that all relevant HSSEQ standards applicable to the business and core business processes are identified, developed and implemented within the organization
- Audit: Plan, direct and monitor the client organization's internal and external audit program, ensuring the organization conforms to ISO, ISM, ISPS and Flag State requirements. Success factor is No Major Non-conformances identified during External Audits, and No Major Nonconformances identified by Internal Audits undertaken by Corporate HSSEQ.
- Contractor Management: Develop and monitor processes that effectiveness manage contractors; specifically, that they are risk-assessed, selected, qualified, and performance-managed to meet the organization's regulatory, statutory, contractual, and organizational requirements.
- Contractor Management: Develop and monitor processes that manage contractors; ensuring and effectiveness of these specifically, that they are risk-assessed, selected, qualified, and performance-managed to meet the organization's regulatory, statutory, contractual, and organizational requirements.
- Risk Management: Develop, maintain and monitor the Risk Management framework, ensuring the organization consistently identifies, monitors, and manages project and operational risks effectively.
- Non-Conforming Outputs: Develop, maintain and monitor processes to effectively ensuring that non-conforming outputs are identified, evaluated, and addressed within 30 days of their issuance.
- Continual Improvement: Develop, maintain and monitor our continual improvement framework so as it captures innovative ideas, shares knowledge, and leverages insights from past experiences to enhance future performance.
- Customer Satisfaction: Assess and manage customer satisfaction levels to ensure we meet the expectations and needs of both internal and external customers, maintaining a rolling average NPS score of +30.
- Competency & Capability: Ensure a competency and capability skills matrix is in place and maintained to ensure our global Quality Assurance team has the necessary competencies and capabilities to achieve its goals and objectives.
(2) LEGAL / OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, maintain and assure our Legal and other Requirements framework to enable the organization to consistently comply with its legal and other requirements.
- Core Business Processes: Assure that the organization's core business processes are continually optimized for time, cost, and quality.
- Strategic Planning: Review and approve the QA Strategic plan annually by the 30th of November to reflect the emerging needs of the client organization. Ensure all direct reports have goals and measures established by the 30th of November each year.
- Strategy Execution: Ensure that direct reports are making commitments aligned with department goals and success measures. Show that direct reports are achieving their commitments on time.
- Performance Management: Ensure that all direct reports are being coached, counselled, and performance managed to ensure they achieve their goals and measures of success.
- Resource Planning: Ensure that the QA Department's human resources are effectively planned and scheduled to meet the organization's quality assurance goals and measures of success.
- On Time & On Budget: Ensure core business processes are in place and effective for delivering the company's products and services on time and within budget.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 15 20 years of relevant experience in either one of the industries Heavy Industries (especially EPC), Business Improvement / Consulting, External Auditing, Financial Auditing, etc.
- Extensive experience in FPSO projects.
- Previous Lead Auditor experience, certified in ISO 9001 / 45001 / 14001 (at Level 4 or higher).
- Certified in ISM and ISPS.
- Tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering.
- Root Cause Analysis certification would be an advantage.
- Worked with International company renowned for their best practice, preferably in high risk / high consequence environments.
- Demonstrable experience of working in countries with stringent government regulatory requirements.
- Proven success in the implementation of an effective culture of quality assurance in a multinational environment where perceptions of risk management and assurance vary considerably.
