Head of Sales & Operations (Singapore) - Social Jet
We're seeking a dynamic, hands-on Manager to lead Social Jet's team. This role combines leadership, operations, and sales - supporting the team day-to-day and driving new business.
The Head of Sales & Operations will lead and grow Social Jet's operations. Responsibilities include sourcing new business opportunities, creating and pitching proposals, managing the sales pipeline, and ensuring operational efficiency within the team. This person will be a proactive leader with a strong background in business development, able to independently source leads and drive growth, while also managing and motivating the team to meet agency goals.
This senior role requires a deep understanding of the marketing world, a proven sales track record, experience in leading a team, and an ability to build strong relationships with diverse clients.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Source & Connect with Brands: Proactively source and reach out to new prospects across various industries, introducing them to our influencer marketing services. This role requires a proactive approach to hunting for leads, not just relying on inbound prospects.
- Lead Client Pitches & Build Relationships: Arrange meetings, understand client needs, and develop strategic proposals that reflect our creative approach.
- Drive Growth: Present compelling ideas, follow up on proposals, and secure new campaigns to fuel agency growth.
- Sales Process Management: Own the full sales cycle, including pipeline management, progress tracking, and regular sales reporting.
- Hit Sales Targets: Meet engagement goals through consistent outreach, calls, and meetings, keeping relationships warm and ongoing. You must be confident in being able to sell our solutions exceeding $60K sales per month.
- Stay Ahead of Market Trends: Keep up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to keep us ahead and continually refine our approach.
Team Leadership & Operations:
- Team Management: Oversee daily operations, delegate tasks, and ensure team alignment to meet agency goals.
- Meetings & Check-Ins: Run regular team meetings, conduct 1:1 check-ins, and support team members with their projects and growth.
- Workflow & Efficiency: Streamline workflows, manage resources, and keep the team on track with deadlines and deliverables.
- Mentorship & Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities, helping the team stay motivated and effective.
- Drive Collaboration: Act as the bridge between the team and the founder, ensuring a smooth flow of information and a supportive work environment.
Innovation & Problem Solving:
- Creative Solutions: Address client challenges and team needs with innovative solutions, turning potential obstacles into opportunities.
- Insights & Improvement: Gather insights from clients and team feedback to improve our offerings and internal processes continuously.
Requirements
- Experience in Sales & Business Development: Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the marketing, digital, or influencer space. Demonstrated ability to source and secure new leads independently.
- Operational & Team Management Skills: Experience managing teams, coordinating tasks, and overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Leadership & People Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide a team. Proven experience in leading team meetings, conducting 1:1 check-ins, and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Strategic & Creative Thinker: Ability to develop strategic proposals, think creatively to solve client challenges, and drive innovation within the team.
- Excellent Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and present compelling pitches and proposals to clients.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the influencer marketing industry, including trends, tools, and competitor landscape, to provide insights and maintain a competitive edge.
- CRM & Reporting Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM systems for tracking sales activity, managing leads, and providing accurate, timely reports to management.
- Results-Driven & Target-Oriented: Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets, with a proactive, self-starter approach to achieving goals.
- Adaptable & Resourceful: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and find solutions to complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
