Our client a leading professional services services group is looking to appoint a Head of Talent Acquisition (APAC) into Singapore, in a brand new role for the region. Job description
This individual will report to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition based in another region, with a dotted line to the Head of HR APAC and CEO of the APAC business. They will sit on the APAC HR Leadership team from a HR COE perspective, and partner closely with the regional leadership team, Country HR Business Partners and Country Heads to help scale the business at pace, supported by a TA team of 20+ specialists across 10+ markets.
This individual will be responsible for leading the TA strategy and execution end to end across the region covering blue and white collar hiring including executive, lateral, campus and TA ops excellence. More specifically, this person will be a SME on all things TA in the region, they will coach and advise the HR and Regional Leadership team on market trends, pipelining top tier talent and building strong talent pools and/or workforce planning from appropriate competitors, reviewing data and providing insights to help drive decision making. You will also lead work related to TA employer branding and external suppliers, as a change agent within the region. You will continue to review and enhance the TA function with a focus on excellent relationship management in a high touch and international environment as part of a global team.
The successful candidate
This individual will have a track record operating as a Head of Talent Acquisition (Asia / APAC) in another global professional services organisation. They will be comfortable leading a sizeable and experienced team across the region within a firm that is growing extensively year on year. A combination of blue and white collar environments is preferable. A track record also managing regional executive hiring would be beneficial, in partnership with specialist external vendors where needed.
