Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify and originate wealth business.
- Develop and maintain account relationship with existing clients (predominantly Indonesia based) and map out new customer pipelines.
- Build a strong relationship with Head Office particularly the Wealth Management Group.
- Analyse market information, client needs and offer appropriate solutions with consideration of clients risk profile and investment objectives.
- Grow and expand the bank's wealth business with strong collaboration with Head Office and other business units.
- Managing documentation process. Coordinating the documentation amongst internal parties, clients and lawyers.
- Lead the department in achieving assigned targets and contribution to the bank's budget.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Experience and Background:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, or a related financial services role, specifically dealing with HNWI and UHNWI clients.
- Strong track record in managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients.
- Knowledge of financial products and services, including investment management, estate planning, and insurance solutions.
2. Educational Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant professional certifications (such as CFP, CFA, or CPA) would be an advantage.
3. Client Relationship Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
- Strong understanding of the unique financial needs, expectations, and behaviours of HNWI and UHNWI clients.
- Ability to provide personalized financial advice and solutions that align with the clients goals.
4. Sales and Business Development Abilities:
- Proven ability to identify and convert sales opportunities within the HNWI/UHNWI market.
- Experience in prospecting, cross-selling, and upselling wealth management products and services.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and growth targets.
5. Financial Knowledge and Technical Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, risk management, and tax implications for wealth management.
- Ability to create and implement tailored financial strategies, including portfolio management, wealth transfer, and asset protection.
6. Compliance and Risk Awareness:
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in wealth management.
- Understanding of risk management principles related to investments and client portfolio management.
7. Professional Network:
- A well-established network of contacts within the financial industry and among potential HNWI / UHNWI clients.
- Ability to leverage this network to grow the client base and develop new business opportunities.
8. Personal Attributes:
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive client information.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, with a proactive approach to solving client problems and addressing their financial needs.
